noting a visit

I am a landscape and flower painter living and working in the northwest corner of Connecticut, where the seasons are dramatic and the pace is deliberate. The natural world drives my imagery through an indirect path of memory and revision. My pictures are full of mistakes and corrections, harmonies and dissonances, beauty and mystery while I search for a certain rightness of form, line and color. The oil paint leads the way.
